Layout boats have been around for decades. They are a low profile floating platform that is anchored in place and a hunter is then placed on it from another boat. The layout boats design is meant to be low profile and hide the hunter in a lounging or laying down position to help them hide from incoming waterfowl.  Our layout boats are never intended to be powered by any means and are solely for the purpose of anchoring them or allowing them to float freely in open water. Another boat or Tender as they are called in the industry is what is used to transport the hunters in and out of the layout boat. DO NOT try to row or paddle our boats and if you do so your doing so at your own risk.  All of our Layout boats are foam filled and made from buoyant materials and guarantee'd to float full of water safely.

We recommend that your new  layout boats are hauled inside your tender boat standing on there sides or that they are across the gunnels of your tender boat. As with any boat you must support the bottom of the boat in some way and not leave it free floating resting on 4 small areas that will create severe stress points and could cause damage to either of your boats. 

Storing your  Layout Boat in the offseason should be done out of direct sunlight and or any place that it can be subject to extreme heat. The Material will warp and can be damaged from excessive heat. We recommend standing it on its edge in a garage, shed or barn. If you must store otuside find a place where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight and cover it with a tarp and vent the tarp to prevent Heat from being trapped inside.

We are happy to ship you a layout boat. However there will be a crate charge and we recommend that you arrange shipping thru a local shipper in your area. We have loading docks available for loading them into the shipping company of your choices truck. Call for questions and details that you will need to obtain a shipping quote. 

Absolutely we offer a non commercial 1 year warranty on all our boats. Our warranty covers manufacturers defects. If you are requesting a warranty claim please call  and arrange to deliver the warranty item to the factory so that it can be inspected by our team and we can either fix or replace your boat if it is found to be covered under our warranty. We do not offer loaner boats or pay for return of any potential warranty claim. All claims can take up to 30 days one they arrive to be determined.

Unfortunately even the strongest and toughest products can be damaged by punctures or poor care and maintenance. Luckily repairs are very possible and can be done in several different ways. You DON'T. Our layout boats are not  designed for propulsion of any kind. They are stationary floating platforms much like a dock for the hunter to lay in for hunting waterfowl in water. Think of them as one of those fancy summer time floating lounge chairs we all use at the lake. We offer a calculated capacity for each one to insure your safety and that you are aware of the capacity maximum of each of out layout boats.  Our boats are designed for the hunter to be in a seated and laying position. We do not recommend, paddling, rowing, or adding any type of propulsion what so ever. Each and everyone of our layout boats are not designed for propulsion and its highly discouraged.
